For many, the modern corporate lifestyle can, at times, be one of anxiety, anger, and frustration. For some employees these emotions may be increasingly more common than happiness, satisfaction and pleasure. In fact, a recent study of over 2000 workers showed that 49% of employees reported feeling more anxious than last year, 20% were expecting to be off sick at some point in the year due to stress-related illness and 29% of employees admitted to having already seen their levels of productivity and efficiency drop due to stress and pressure.
With this in mind, the online Healthy Thinking™ program was designed by Dr Tom Mulholland (a General Practitioner) as an interactive e-development tool for identifying the causes and minimising the impact of unhealthy thoughts on employee wellbeing. The Healthy Thinking™ online course consists of six engaging learning modules and an online secure diary where employees can record their ideas and progress towards redefining their way of thinking. This course actively runs over six weeks and then remains open to employees for a year so they can revisit and refine their Healthy Thinking™ attitudes to become a Healthy Thinker for life.
Healthy Thinking™ can:
· Reduce stress, anger and frustration
· Lower blood pressure and improve sleep patterns
· Improve productivity and staff engagement
While Healthy Thinking™ is suitable for individuals it can greatly improve team and organisational positivity. The online tool can improve team cohesion and group relationships when supplemented with team based Healthy Thinking™ workshops and facilitated discussion.

Many organisations have already found Healthy Thinking™ to be effective:
"We have rolled Healthy Thinking™ out extensively in our team and it has had dramatic effects on attitude and behaviour. We are planning to roll out Healthy Thinking™ across St John Ambulance and recommend other organisations do it as well".
Gerry Fitzgerald – Customers and Services Director, St John Ambulance.
"The Healthy Thinking™ program not only helped create a more productive workplace it gave our people real tools to improve the quality of their private lives".
Grant Simpson, CEO, ACE Insurance.
